I have a similar temper to Seiji too (I always answer my parents “I know, I know!”)… which kind of freaked me out when his mother broke down like that. Anyway, now that I have some free time (finally!), I decided to watch it as it is (no expectations whatsoever).
I know where to find a chinese-subbed ones but as I said before, I wasn’t really motivated to watch. Moreover, I couldn’t find any eng-subbed version. Not that this has anything to do with the dorama… but I’ve seen what kind of a person he is on TV so I thought it would be fun to watch him acting a different kind of character. Since I became an Ohno fan (which later introduced me to Arashi fandom), I’ve always watched Nino on Arashi’s regular TV Shows. But I’ve always been a fan of his acting career. ~ The last dorama I saw with Nino in it is “Stand Up!”. ~ This episode didn’t really have that “Whoa” factor to me but I’m interested to know what will happen next so hopefully I’ll be diligent enough to write a review. Well, I’m behind 3-4 episodes but I’m going to catch up soon. And, the very presence of the kitty becomes a turning point for both the Take family and Manami`s relationship with her mother.Yeah! New dorama to watch this season (just in time for my semester break too!). But, while Manami is out at work, the kitty becomes ill and Manami's mother not knowing what to do contacts Manami and so Seiji decides to take care of the kitty in the meantime. After promising to take care of the kitty only until a new owner is found, Manami is able to take care of the kitty at her mother`s home. But one day, on the way home from drinking with the Oetsu Construction members, Seiji and Manami come across an abandoned kitty. Seiji, having just started his new life, hadn't really given much thought to marriage, but after meeting Manami's mother, he is shocked to learn how Manami feels about her mother and towards marriage. Growing up in such an environment, Manami had fostered a complicated relationship with her mother, and because of that the prospect of marriage wasn`t appealing to her. Manami's father had passed away when she was young and her mother, Sayuri, had remarried since then. The Take family, having moved into their new home, have been living there peacefully until Sumiko's brother shows up one day while she is out, and Seiji and Ayako discovers that their parents had in fact married despite objection from Sumiko's family.Īlso, Manami, in the midst of her internship in Okayama, is coming back to Tokyo for a week, and so Seiji and Manami are finally able to reunite.
